Update on CELPIP Registrations

Due to the unprecedented volume of demand for test registrations, our online registration system and website are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are doing everything that we can to ensure that you are able to find and register for a CELPIP Test. We have heard your feedback, and would like to update you on the following:

  • If you are trying to access our website to register for a test, it is intermittently available and we are dedicating more resources to ensure our registration system is accessible as soon as possible. In the coming days you may be able to access the website for registration and we thank you for your support and for choosing CELPIP. We are committed to resolving the issue as quickly as we can.
  • If you are trying to reach a customer service representative by telephone, please know that due to the volume of requests, our phone lines are closed and the fastest way to get information about your test is to email us at info@celpip.ca.
  • If you have been unable to find an available test in your area, know that we are expanding the number of available test sittings in the coming weeks, and that we will provide more updates when additional sittings are available.
  • Test registrations are NOT available at our test centres. Test centres are unable to take your test registrations, and will not be able to address individual questions or concerns about your CELPIP Test. Please do not call or visit CELPIP test centres to obtain information. Due to COVID restrictions, we can only admit confirmed test takers to our centres.
  • Study materials in your CELPIP Account may not be accessible. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working towards restoring your access to study materials. We are pleased to provide over 20 hours of free preparation on our YouTube Channel to help you get ready for your test while we work through our technical difficulties. Learn more about our free preparation videos below.
  • Test registrations are NOT available at our test centres. Test centres are unable to take your test registrations, and will not be able to address individual questions or concerns about your CELPIP Test. Please do not call or visit CELPIP test centres to obtain information. Due to COVID restrictions, we can only admit confirmed test takers to our centres.
  • If you have paid for a test but have not yet received your confirmation email, we will be in contact with all test takers to provide you with updates about their registrations. Updates will be sent daily (Saturday and Sunday included) between 1:00 PM PST and 6:00 PM PST for registrations made in the previous 24 hour period.
  • If you have made duplicate payments, or have been charged twice for a test registration, your duplicate payment will be refunded. Please note that moving forward, duplicate payments will not be permitted within a 24-hour period. Please allow 1-2 weeks for refunds to be completed.
